General Maintenance Mechanic (Tool Crib)

Position Summary

This position provides maintenance support in order to ensure efficient operations from maintenance supporting production from the tool crib. The main elements of this role include but are not limited to organizing, light maintenance and support to shop production.

Responsibilities

Main job function would be: assist as needed with minor hands-on repairs such as welding whips and hoses, hydraulic equipment and paint pumps, change filters, basic machining, basic plumbing, basic heating/cooling and electrical equipment. Additional duties include but are not limited to:

· Ability to operate overhead crane

· Ability to operate forklift

· Ability to read blueprints and operating manuals.

· Inventory and distribute equipment

· Assist with inventory control of shop resources and maintenance items; managed through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
