SALARY: $ 38.45 - $41.00

HYBRID POSITION

SUMMARY

Responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining client/server application systems. Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the application. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., ANSI X12 EDI, C#, ASP.NET, etc.) Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop, maintain, support, and design client/server applications with a Microsoft SQL Server back-end using C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with data communication methods, such as VAN,FTP, AS2 is required.
• Experienced with ANSI X12 EDI standard EDI document sets (e.g. 810, 846, 850, 852, 855, 856, 860, 997)

• Onboarding of new Customers/Suppliers by working with internal teams and third-party consulting EDI service providers for integration.
• Works to meet priorities and deadlines while providing quality assurance on assigned projects.
• Interacts with business groups and system analysts in the design and development of systems.
• Determines the source and corrective action(s) necessary to resolve problems related to the supported systems, program, or integration points.
• Complete application development by gathering requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments.
• Adapt code to new requirements with minimal impact on business processes.
• Uses creativity and technical judgment in order to troubleshoot and resolve software problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Programming experience with C#, Visual Studio.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, ANSI X12 EDI.
• Dynamics NAV experience is a plus.
• Full use and application of standard principles, concepts, and techniques.
• Ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements and assist in translating them into technical design specifications and development of projects.
• Excellent process orientation and exhibited planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
• Reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Works effectively in a team environment and under general supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detailed oriented, thorough, and able to handle heavy workloads and deadlines.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some light lifting is required. This would require the ability to lift files up to 10 pounds, open boxes, and cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a hybrid position.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, and 4+ years of equivalent experience.
