What You'll Do:
Daily Tasks Include:
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager/Manager to join our RIS Annuity Operations team. In this role, you’ll manage a team of individuals to ensure high quality, efficient, and prompt service is delivered and customer expectations are met!
Daily Tasks Include:
- Lead a team of specialists that interact with clients in a manner that ensures high quality service and meets business goals at an acceptable cost. Directing and allocating resources to support workflow and processes.
- Improving team performance through effective coaching, team building, selection and hiring, training, performance management, and salary administration
- Using creativity, problem-solving and negotiation skills, and in depth product knowledge to successfully arrive at a solution for internal and external customers
- Establishing and maintain effective working relationships with staff throughout business unit and the company to meet the needs of our customers and business objectives
- Building an environment that values others’ contributions and encourages trust and respect between team members
- Leading team to meet goals within budget
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as the need arises

Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) and 4+ years related experience
- You have informal leadership experience
- Requires excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
- Must also possess strong interpersonal, organizational/ leadership, and negotiation skills
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
- Previous experience within the insurance or financial services industry is helpful
- You have prior formal leadership experience
Job Level
We’ll consider talent at the Manager level with the right experiences and skills. The Manager requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related work experience, including 2 years in a supervisory position.
