Job Description

Position: Assistant to Executive Director

Job Summary: Work with Executive Director on financials in QuickBooks, assist with grant writing and tracking of programs.

Salary: Hourly position, Monday – Friday. Starting pay is $17-$19 per hour with performance increase yearly. Participation in the 401K and benefits available after 30 days.

Essential Job Functions:

• Understanding of QuickBooks, desktop version preferrable.
• Ability to gather statistics and information for grant reports.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Submit grant reports in a timely manner.
• Build relationships within the community.
• When necessary, attend trainings or conferences.
• Keep Executive Director informed of project progress.

Experience: At least 1 year of QuickBooks experience.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of grants and nonprofits preferrable.

Skills: Bookkeeping preferrable or a good understanding of accounting.

Abilities: Need to be able to multi-task and be organized, work well with others, and work semi- independently to accomplish the task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
