Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an Associate – Fabrication Assistant, for our Elevator Equipment Corporation location, in Richmond, IN to support our power unit product. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high quality elevator components.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Adhere to assigned production schedule
- Set up and operate Press Break machine in a safe manner
- Use of various hand tools
- Grind and bevel parts as needed
- Assist with inventory management
- Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area
- Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Requires exercising good judgment
- Requires attention to detail
- Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
