Job description
The position will oversee creative, video production and manage post-production for all filmed and non-filmed content. Salary range is $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience.
Associate Producer
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Helps create pitch deck materials and presentations for current clients and new clients.
  • Manage production timeline to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Finds ways to increase InterImage profit margins.
  • Assist with production planning and physical production.
  • Be able to find crew/locations for large, medium and small budget productions, irrespective of the size of the budget – is always budget conscious.
  • Create a creative/production/project tracker to ensure key project details are up to date and report updates during the daily stand-up meeting
  • Draft submission emails including edit caveats and feedback deadlines for internal and client video review processes
  • Consolidate internal & client feedback, and confirm all notes have been addressed by Editor & Creative Director
  • Uphold studio best practices including file-naming, project organization, and other shared server conventions
  • QC review submissions & final deliverables, as well as execute delivery of final assets to stakeholders & platforms
  • Ensure server archive of collected project assets following final delivery
  • Proactively coordinates with partners (InterImage) to bring ideas to life during production process
  • Responsible for New Business Development outside of the IMGC network
  • Fairly and consistently ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Administration - Priority
  • Ensures budget approval and advanced payment from clients to InterImage prior to start of production as per contract.
  • Ensures timely billing to clients for all projects.
  • Keeps track of productions costs and reconciling budgets on a weekly basis, reporting overages immediately to the Creative Director, CEO and CFO.
  • Reviews AMEX Credit Card Statements monthly, and coding each expense by “job #” and “essential function”, and providing to accounting monthly
  • Works with Accounting on closing out production jobs that need to be reconciled, billed and moved out of the Production Work in Progress account on a timely and expeditious basis
  • Ascertains that all costs associated with each job is hitting the correct job #s on the accounting side

Operations Manager
  • Oversee and execute the video post-production process to support InterPost video operations for Custom & Branded Content.
  • Increases profitability by managing postproduction, budgets, expenses and job costing.
  • Monitors editors’ workflows, maximizes output and investigates drops in productivity.
  • Works with CEO and CFO to determine billable hourly rates for editors, and accurately tracks and records editors’ time.
  • Create postproduction calendars and communicate schedule changes to key stakeholders
  • When necessary, book & manage freelance postproduction crew including Coordinators, Editors, Assistant Editors, Motion Graphics Artists, Colorists, & Audio Mixers
  • Manage internal freelance payroll
  • Manage storage space for all post-production needs.
  • Order hard drives as needed.
  • Ensure editors have stock footage, music, and VO as needed.
  • Manage tasks/timelines of Editors, Motion Graphics Artists, and finishing artists
  • Effective, fair, and consistent performance management
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities for creative and production.
  • Help generate outward facing creative/production/post-production calendars/timelines for clients to review.

Place of Employment
Woodland Hills, California; provided that Company may from time to time require Employee to travel temporarily to other locations on Company's business.
