The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Trade Control Specialist to join our team in Tukwila, WA; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; or Hazelwood, MO.
We are looking for an innovative, critical thinker, who has a global mentality, to join our team as a Trade Control Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a history of resilience in fast paced environments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Form deep partnerships with key stakeholders to understand their business strategies and provide tailored regulatory guidance to enable success.
- Evolve Boeing’s global trade infrastructure (automation, processes, training, and assessments) to support new and diverse global business ventures.
- Gain a deep understanding of the regulations governing global trade.
- Represent Boeing to the US and Non-US Governments through the preparation of import and export authority submissions.
Position Responsibilities:
Researches, gathers, collects and organizes global regulatory trade control requirements information
Interacts with stakeholders internal to the organization on routine global trade control matters
Performs preliminary global regulatory trade control interpretation and impact analysis
Provides input to the development and update of processes and procedures
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience working with a team to solve complex issues
1+ years of experience working with business and/or government processes or regulations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience writing trade control authorities / export licensing
1+ years of experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) & International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
1+ years of experience participating on compliance assessment activities supporting global trade controls matters
1+ years of project management experience
1+ years of experience with Lean
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 year’s related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $60,350-$93,150

To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
