Job Title: Battery Lab Technician
Location: Cupertino, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract role with possible of extension
Pay rate: $32.18/hr on W2 with benefits
Need an associate degree or higher. Need someone who has actually made batteries. Chemical or semi conductor background would be great as they know what can be contaminated and vise versa.
Duties:
1) Building of developmental battery cells (slurry casting, cutting and punch out metal foils)
2) Putting developmental cells into foam pressure fixtures
3) Polymer film characterization and quality control (thickness and uniformity measurement)
4) Quality control of liquids (measurement of viscosity, density, and conductivity)
5) Cleaning of utensils (washing glassware, Teflon molds, bottles, funnels, lids, stirrers)
6) Drying of salts (high vacuum, oven, molecular sieve)
Skills:
Conscientious, willing, and trainable. Good hand dexterity
Education:
Preferably a Bachelors Degree
