BLEND/BAG LINE OPERATOR

Calmar, AB

Based in Winnipeg, BrettYoung has locations throughout Western Canada and Ontario. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Team in support of our continued growth.

Blend/Bag Line Operator, Full-Time Term with a November start date to June 2023

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to

• Using machinery to bag product according to specifications set out by the Supervisor
• Dumping seed, preparing materials and replenishment of production line supplies
• Cleaning and conducting change-over of processing equipment
• Manually stacking product on pallets (lifting up to 55lbs), neatly, safely and according to the specifications set out by the Supervisor
• Assist with yard and warehouse organization and housekeeping

Required Skills

• Previous experience working in a production atmosphere is preferred
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated with positive attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work long hours as needed
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Proficient in spoken and written English

Applicants must have reliable transportation as we are located outside of city limits. Steel-toed safety boots are required.
