The Branch Sales Manager is the “Head Coach”, responsible for the development and performance of all sales representatives in their market area. This dynamic position is responsible for leading a high-performance sales team in line with our culture and proven methodology. The Branch Sales Manager drives excellence through superior product knowledge, strong sales acumen, dedication to customer satisfaction, and the keen ability to effectively coach, train, motivate and lead a quota-busting sales team.

Branch Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Drive performance excellence throughout the Branch by recruiting, selecting and retaining a top-notch sales team that meets and exceeds forecasts.
  • Motivate, inspire, teach and advance representatives at all times; always help them achieve their personal and profession goals.
  • Monitor, coach and demonstrate the Improveit methodology without compromise (always being the example that sets the bar).
  • Conduct regular performance review and coaching sessions with all representatives and assign learning and development courses and activities, as necessary.
  • Ensure Field Sales Trainers are focused on the right topics and effecting positive improvements with reps on a regular basis.
  • Regularly complete ride-alongs with sales representatives to observe, coach and improve performance and ensure a great customer experience.
  • Ensure all representatives conduct business according to standard operating procedures and company guidelines.
  • Prepare and conduct professional monthly sales meetings designed to effectively meet the needs of the team.
  • Effectively resolve customer concerns and move sales through the funnel with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensure sales representative schedules are clearly set and managed to ensure optimal appointment assignment rates.
  • Foster and grow the sales lead self-generation program.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development Department and assist in the creation and updates of the sales training program, including coaching assignments and boot camp content.


Required Qualifications
:

In addition to the qualifications and needed experience outlined below, the successful candidate will bring a positive “can-do” attitude, strong competitive drive, a high degree of adaptability and a passion to help us deliver on the best customer experience.

  • 3 to 5+ yrs. of Sales Management Experience, preferably in the Home Improvement, Replacement Windows, Bathroom Remodeling or related industry
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding branch sales quotas
  • Proven proficiency in recruiting, selecting, and retaining high performing sales representatives
  • Proven track record of leading, training and mentoring performance-based sales teams
  • Ability to understand and execute against budgets/forecasts
  • Highly self-motivated, self-disciplined and driven
  • Positive, high-energy, engaging, and passionate
  • Ability to speak with poise and confidence
  • Ability to learn, retain, and adhere to our methodology, scripts and products
  • Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong aptitude to solve problems creatively and efficiently
  • Solid analytical skills and aptitude to effectively review appropriate data and metrics
  • Tech-savvy; Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CRMs, iPad/App Usage (Salesforce.com experience, a plus)
