Job Title: Business Analyst Manager

Reports to: Chief Information Officer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Information Technology

Summary:

The Analytics Manager will supervise a team that provides analytical expertise. The role will collaborate with executives and other departments to identify and meet information needs. The Analytics Manager will analyze and validate findings, creating reports, presentations, and visualizations. The Analytics Manager will develop, implement and disseminate metrics about quality, performance and outcomes. This role will manage a team of analysts, assigning schedules, and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Coordinating efforts and provide coaching to staff member in their department
  • Manage a group of trained employees that analyze large amounts of information; their team collaborate with other groups in their organization to share important information
  • Design and implement dashboards and reports according to business requirements and technical specifications including generate charts and graphs
  • Work independently and collaborate with internal and external team members and participate in ACO and/or related meetings, committees or functions
  • Read, analyze, and interpret CMS specifications and documents
  • Develop predictive model for defined populations and programs for cost and outcome
  • Develop recommendations and facilitate system-wide view for care management processes and outcomes
  • Develop models for patient segmentation to support precision in clinical intervention planning
  • Serves as a mentoring resource for other developers
  • Develop and Maintain BI governance strategy
  • Manage Month End operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education/Experience:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years’ experience in Population Health, ACO, Health Plan, medical management/cost of care or decision support environment
  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills. Experienced in the development of financial analysis, reporting, predictive analytics and claims systems.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Business intelligence reporting development experience using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI and Excel

Required Skills:

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with a diverse group of co-workers and physicians.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Requires strong approach to problem solving, great technical leadership, flexibility, and a self-motivated working style with attention to detail.

knowledge base includes:

  • Knowledge of Healthcare Eligibility, Encounter, Quality Measure and Claims Data
  • Knowledge of ACO KPIs (quality and financial)
  • Knowledge of basic data preparation, mapping and transformation
  • Knowledge of SQL query

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
