The Conestoga Valley School District is seeking a Business Office Generalist. This position is responsible for accurately processing and performing the work of the accounts receivable department in a timely and accurate manner. This position is accountable for reconciling, depositing and recording receipts, processing facility usage requests and related billings, monitoring tax collections, updating fixed asset records, and assisting with various other processes and calculations. The position is also accountable for the use of independent judgement and the handling of non-routine situations. Critical areas include maintaining accurate records of business transactions, monitoring accounts, and developing reports.

This position requires an understanding of processes and procedures in the Business Office. This position requires excellent customer service, teamwork, and good interpersonal skills using tact and diplomacy. Confidentiality is essential. Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft suite office products and position-related software; be highly organized; be flexible to work on multiple tasks; be detail oriented; be able to learn new skills.

An Associate’s degree in a related field or one to three years of bookkeeping/accounting is necessary. Applications are being accepted through Indeed. EEO
