KAKA AYCE has been dubbed as one of the “Best All-You-Can-Eat Premium Sushi Restaurants” in the Greater Toronto Area, and are seeking a hard working and positive team player to join our team in Kaka downtown location.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery food to guest's table.
- Prepare dining room for guests by cleaning and setting tables, service plates, and utensils.
- Remove dirty plate and utensil, as needed.
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
- Support waitstaff.
- Close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and removing trash from the facility.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming front-of-house experience
Requirements:
- Previous work experience as busser is preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Neat personal presentation
- Fluently in English
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift, ability to carry heavy trays and buckets
- Hospitality certification is a plus (Smart Serve, Food handler, etc)
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
