CAD Drafter Job Description
CAD Draftsman (Plumbing/MEP) is fully responsible for Design and AutoCAD Drafting Shop Drawings, As Built drawings for MEP Projects related to infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing presentation Drawings in AutoCAD.
- Preparation of combined services shop drawings including preparation of Plumbing DWV systems.
- Design works. Quantity take off, preparation of As Built drawings etc.
- Establish procedures for controlling contract drawings.
- Assist in the development of the site utilization plan.
- Responsible for proactive administration of reviewing as well as processing all submittal data plus shop drawings to make sure project schedules are expedited and materials are delivered on time.
- Assisting in drawing problem by recommending solutions.
- Respond to customer queries regarding drawings.
Job Requirements include the following:
- Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if situation demands.
- Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
- General proficiency with computers
- Excellent organizational skills
