Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery is looking for a new Porter! We have over 800 hard-working and passionate employees throughout our 17 locations. Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the casino premises, offices, and parking lot.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required.

Essential Functions

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop all tile and wood floor areas in the casino, offices, including team member restrooms.
• Clean and replenish the supplies in the restrooms located in the casino premises.
• Remove the dirt and wipes in your assigned areas.
• Clean all slot machines, stools, door panels, windows, etc.
• Remove all trash from the casino premises, offices, restrooms, parking lots and places them in the proper disposal area.
• Sweeps the sidewalks and parking lots.
• Assists with the moving of furniture, equipment, etc.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to Lift 50 lbs.
• Must wear personal protective equipment.

Skills and/or Abilities

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external guests.
• Ability to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
