Calling all experienced Civil Engineers!

We need an experienced Civil Engineer to lead the Construction engineering department at the McHenry County Division of Transportation.

We are looking for an individual who is a Resident Engineer to oversee the road and bridge construction projects. Someone who can take the lead on managing the consultant construction engineering contracts.

Also supervises the Engineering Tech and the Construction Engineer I and II staff. Supervisory skills are a must have talent.

Work Week: Monday - Friday

Hours: 37.50 weekly

Pay Range: 35.36 - $42.43 (dependent upon qualifications) with OT

What you need to bring to the table -

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Must possess or have the ability to become a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois within one year of hire.
• Survey experience is required
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s license
• Must live in the State of IL
