Stûv America is a subsidiary of Stûv, a Belgian company that designs and manufactures stoves and fireplaces. Founded in 1983, Stûv employs more than 120 people and manufactures more than 15,000 devices per year distributed worldwide. Role overview

The sales representative offers a constant presence for our dealer network and develops a relationship of trust with them in addition to promoting the Stûv brand to our community of architects, designers and other prescribers. Through their consistent communication with dealers and active promotion of Stûv products to architects and designers, the sales representative contributes to surpassing the company's sales targets.

Territory in Canada: Provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.

Possibility of territory along the West Coast: Washington, Oregon, etc.

Main Tasks and Responsiblities

  • Develop, create and maintain a good business relationship with clients (dealers, general contractors, architectural firms, designers, etc.);
  • Meet with existing and potential clients to analyze and understand their needs;
  • Complete the sales process and provide personalized after-sales follow-ups;
  • Write and submit weekly reports on visits and actions taken;
  • Become a technical resource capable of responding to requests for information regarding maintenance, installation, technical data sheets, assembly, etc;
  • Carry out business development activities to create and maintain contacts;
  • Transmit information and updates (new price lists, promotional tools, events, new products, etc.);
  • Create and plan training sessions with architectural and design firms;
  • Identify potential real estate projects to promote Stûv's products and boost dealer sales;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team with the implementation of sales and retention strategies;
  • In collaboration with the Stûv America team, participate actively in all business development and retention activities, such as: sales tools, work methods and promotional events, etc.

Desired Skills and Requirements

  • Relevant experience in commercial sales;
  • Results-oriented and excellent dealmaking skills;
  • Skill with the commercial aspects of a business-to-business relationship (setting sales targets with dealers, establishing a promotional investment amount ...);
  • Excellent ability to understand and explain the technical and mechanical aspects of a product;
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in synergy with the head office team;
  • Strong sense of responsibility (entrepreneurial spirit);
  • Valid Canadian work permit;
  • Valid driving licence and passport;
  • Availability to be on the road 50% of the time;
  • Availability to travel to the head office (Bromont, QC) twice a year.

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
