POSITION SUMMARY:
This role provides support for commercial stability studies within the Technical Operations Analytical department. This role is responsible for timely processing of stability data in a compliant manner, fostering good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and living Vertex’s vision and values.

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support technical analytical data review of the commercial stability program, which encompasses all commercial products/strengths including drug substance intermediates, drug substance, drug product intermediates, and drug products.
  • Transfer of and archiving of stability data from external contract testing laboratories within Vertex systems.
  • Support entry and verification of stability data in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and generation of reports for regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborating with stability testing CMOs to resolve stability data issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of analytical methodologies such as chromatography, dissolution, water content (Karl Fisher), and physical form data.
  • Experience with electronic document management systems
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Experience with statistical software (JMP) and its application to support data entry and trending.
  • Knowledge of US and EU cGMP regulations/guidances.
  • Ability to prioritize objectives from multiple projects, adhere to scheduled timelines while maintaining flexibility and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Pay Range:
$45-$50/HR
