Job description
This position will be located at our Madison, WI regional office.
What You’ll Do
Review new and current state and federal regulations, including IRS regulations, applicable to individual life and annuity products.
Establishes and maintains integrated compliance policies and programs which help ensure adherence of filed rates and forms to state and federal legislation/regulation, monitors regulatory activities, completes necessary filings, responds to state audits and acts as Sentry's representative on various boards and bureaus.
Work collaboratively with business areas for developing recommendations to help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Create, maintain and file exhibits and requests with the state for changes to products.
Analyze markets, data and trends and present findings to upper management.
Announce product rate, rule and form updates to the impacted business areas
What it Takes
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Prior insurance background with experience in compliance, product development or product filings preferred
Ability to collect and analyze data and trends and clearly communicate their results
Insurance coursework such as FLMI or ALMI is beneficial
Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills are essential
