Renewal by Andersen is a custom window and patio door replacement company based locally here in Portland, and service homeowners in Oregon, SW Washington, and the San Diego area. We are looking to fuel our continued growth with an experienced Construction Safety and Fleet Manager. This position will maintain and enhances the organization's safety and security by planning, implementing, and evaluating safety programs, trainings, and compliance to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees and customers. Responsible for developing and delivering a safety strategy that protects people and promotes a positive, behavior-based safety environment. This position has primary oversight over environmental health and safety programs, and fleet safety management. Functions will include fire safety, occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, environmental and fleet safety.

• Conduct monthly jobsite visits with installation crews to determine safe operations and advise of duties and responsibilities to correct unsafe operations.
• Performs regular physical inspections of all company buildings, property, equipment, and operations; identifies hazards and incidents of safety and regulatory non-compliance and recommends corrective measures.
• Assists employees and leaders in the efficient and effective maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Responsible for collaborating with leaders to develop and implement a safety improvement plan.
• Prepares and schedules training to cover workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
• Develops accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into operational policies and procedures of the organization.
• Leads post-incident reviews and identifies corrective actions.
• Consults with all departments to provide expertise and ensure compliance with standards, processes, and preventative measures.
• Develops, implements, and maintains programs to ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local safety-related regulations, in addition to other environmental health and safety.
• Maintains knowledge of current and emerging issues and trends in the industry as it pertains to safety and regulation.
• Development and management of fleet safety policies and procedures.
• Establish a driver hiring and qualification process.
• Implement driver safety orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitoring of unsafe driving (MVR, complaints, accidents, telematics events, etc.)
• Approve employee use of their own vehicles and monitoring requirements.
• Ensure inspection and maintenance of vehicles; ensure proper registering and licensing of vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• construction safety management: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Required)
