Position Summary
The cook prepares meals for patients and the Mountain View Cafe.
Base salary starting at: $14.30 / hr
- Prepares and cooks meals for patients, employees, and visitors working from
- Operates commercial and large scale cooking equipment and appliances.
- Provides input into the development of the menu.
- Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a cook preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Cooking skills and the ability to follow established menus and recipes.
- Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to: a friendly personality,
telephone.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, managers and the general public verbally
- Demonstrate effective listening skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to establish priorities
- Possess exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision.
- Ability to learn new computer software programs.
- Ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
- Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability for the position.
