The Outlets at Castle Rock is currently hiring Custodians who will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the common areas and parking lot of the Center. We take great pride in hiring for this role as Custodians are often the first Outlets at Castle Rock employees who have the privilege of interacting with our shoppers. Qualified candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, a professional/tidy appearance, and an eye for making things sparkle.

Hourly Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains the cleanliness of the restrooms to Company standards including wiping all surfaces and fixtures, mopping, sweeping, removing paper and debris from the ground, and reporting repairs or maintenance as required.
• Stocks and replaces restroom supplies such as toilet paper, toilet sanitary covers, paper towels, soap, and other related restroom items.
• Works with the custodian team to maintain all common areas of the center (removing gum, stains, cigarette butts, paper and debris from the ground).
• Ensures cart is fully stocked at the beginning of each shift
• Maintains the cleanliness of the food court by sanitizing all tables and chairs, maintaining the proper placement of all tables and chairs in both food court interior and exterior
• Supports the maintenance staff as directed by the Operations Director and General Manager.
• Performs all duties according to OSHA-established health and safety standards.
• Assists customers as appropriate by always maintaining a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude.
• Maintains working knowledge of all safety procedures established for the Center.
• Assists customers with questions or requests.
• Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
• No experience is necessary.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

• Ability to comprehend instruction.
• Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.
• Requires attention to detail.
