Job description
Work closely with several departments including Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Regulatory and Graphic Design to support new business and ensure each part launch is planned and organized for success. The launch process includes accuracy of launch and speed to market.
OUTCOME: Manage the Launch of Customer Programs/Products within Michigan Operations
· Collaborate with Business Partners to understand their product vision and break it down into an actionable backlog for internal teams
· Schedule Launch AQP Meetings with the launch team
· Track the progress of part or program launches (timeliness & accuracy) and drive action based on results
· Document customer expectations and/or specific customer requirements
· Coordinate and track inter-departmental activities to ensure commitments made relevant to product development timeline, delivery and quality are met
OUTCOME: Manage Launch Approvals & Product Lifecycle Activities to Exceed Customer Expectations
· Approve artwork, new part set up
· Works with production to approve first run launches
· Ownership of responsibility for programs of various complexities
· Responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations at various levels with both internal and external customers
· Provide project status presentations to various levels of management & customers
· Maintain document control, database management and coordination and tracking of project activities and communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters
OUTCOME: Manage Communication between Internal and External Customers
· Work with Sales to provide weekly status updates on projects to the customer. Track requests and new parts to quote.
· Responsible for customer satisfaction reviews and corrective actions
· Follow-up with customers to obtain necessary information, plans, data, specifications and other items critical to the proper flow of information
· Contribute to continuous product improvement plans

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
