An international manufacturing company is in need of a Customer Service Representative to join their team by the Elk Grove Village, IL area. This is an on-site, direct hire and full-time position with an excellent benefits package with a signing bonus.

Responsibilities – Customer Service Representative:

• Develop strong customer relationships while offering high-quality customer service
• Interface with sales and technical support teams to ensure that customer needs are met and purchase orders are processed efficiently
• Communicate on a regular basis with customers by email, phone, fax, or in person
• Process customer orders and address any issues related to order processing, products, shipment methods, etc
• Utilize CRM on a daily basis to track and record customer information
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Requirements – Customer Service Representative:

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree is required
• Must have 1-2 years of related experience
• Basic technical knowledge and computer skills is required
• Have an interest advancing one's career
• Demonstrated technical ability with customers and products
• Prior documentation and data entry experience is preferred
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Prior experience assisting HR or Accounting departments is a plus!
• Able to communicate fluently in both written and verbal English

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
