Delivery Truck Driver/Warehouse - Negaunee

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for a Delivery Truck Driver/Warehouse employee to join its team at our location in Negaunee, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for pickup and delivery of a wide variety of parts/components, to and from various customer locations, vendors, and mine sites.

Responsibilities:

• Pickup and delivery of a wide variety of parts/components to and from various customer locations, vendors, and mine sites.
• Loading and unloading trucks for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Process all associated paperwork for shipments.
• Pulling of parts orders for both internal and external customers.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean and orderly, including sweeping, and emptying garbage.
• On-call shift once a month.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Applicant must be able to obtain a Chauffeur License or already have one. Clean driving record required, and 18 (Eighteen) years of age.
• MSHA certification or ability to obtain MSHA certification.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug test and possess a CDL Class B License.
• Can follow directions on priorities of parts scheduled to leave the yard.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• This position also requires employees to frequently climb stairs/movable stairs, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend, and work in outside weather conditions.
• Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
• Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
• Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
