- Call on healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics and eldercare facilities in order to generate sales for both private duty homecare (medical and non-medical) and medical staffing (temp to perm/perm placement)
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and KPIs
- Develop marketing plan for new or existing service lines
- Join and attend area networking, professional associations and chamber groups
- Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities in the community
- Establish working rapport with BrightStar marketers, health care professionals and nursing schools in the territory
- Ability to use social media marketing platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Reviews, email campaigns)
- Utilize ZOHO CRM (sales management tool and social media tool)
- Plan, execute event marketing (CEUs, relevant health and community presentations)
- Support the recruiting team by making connections in the community (eg. CNA schools, nursing colleges, etc.)
- Other duties assigned as needed to ensure business growth
- RN, LPN, Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or healthcare, preferred
- Established contacts/relationships in service area
- Proven ability to generate leads and monitor referrals, to manage a sales territory, maintaining and relationships with new and existing contacts
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the home healthcare industry preferred
- Experience with public speaking (in addition to presentation skills). Strong at persuasive and educational writing and speaking
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills; ability to shift priorities
- Flexibility with schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend events
- Demonstrate working knowledge of health care in home and institutional setting; hospital to home, SNF to home strategy
- Comfortable with asking for/closing business; self-starter comfortable making cold calls in person
- Exhibit outstanding organizational skills and a service attitude towards the community
- Ability to multi-task; demonstrate sense of understanding and urgency
- Excellent written, oral and listening skills; proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance
