First State Community Bank is looking for a high-level team player with a strong sense of accountability and collaboration to fill the role of Director of Marketing Services.

The Director of Marketing Services will be responsible for planning, developing and implementation of all the organizations marketing strategies and communications, internally and externally. This employee will coordinate the strategic and tactical marketing approaches within the organization while overseeing a team of specialists dedicated to supporting the communities we serve through various marketing efforts.

Professionalism

• Develop marketing partnerships and coordinate media interest in the organization to ensure a consistent message is delivered throughout our target markets
• Lead & engage the marketing contacts at branch locations, seeking regular input regarding the quality of current or potential marketing programs
• Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure continuity of organization-wide efforts

Accountability

• Utilizing marketing research, build the annual marketing plan & budget and manage quarterly execution and reporting for initiative impact
• Drive growth through new customer acquisition, retention marketing, social media and email campaigns, print advertising and brand awareness
• Provide necessary communication and tools to the marketing staff to facilitate engagement and understanding of organizations values, vision and direction

Initiative

• Set clear, achievable team goals and ensure staff has resources, access, and professional development opportunities to perform at high levels
• Ensures all policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals are followed
• Coordinate the appearance of all print and electronic materials such as brochures, letterhead, logos, website and press releases

Adaptability

• Stay informed of developments in the field of banking, new banking products and services, marketing, communications and public relations
• Keep abreast of and maintain compliance according to all federal and state banking regulations with regards to Marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Related Field preferred
• Minimum five years related experience in banking or the financial services industry, preferably with experience marketing financial products
• People Management experience required
• Good understanding of marketing research techniques
• Ability to analyze marketing research and data
• Proficiency with marketing & graphic design software
• Knowledge in CRM systems
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with co-workers, management, regulatory agencies and the public
• Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
• Ability to develop and measure appropriate tracking and measuring tools
• Excellent time-management skills required
