A renowned hospital in Southern New Hampshire is searching for a Clinical Nurse Manager for its Surgical department. The Nurse Manager oversees multiple operating rooms, provides leadership and direction to clinical personnel, and ensures the department’s philosophy, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures align with the hospital’s mission and objectives. You will report directly to executive leadership and assume responsibility for the nursing function of the department. Responsibilities:

• Perform rounds in multiple ORs and understand the needs of surgical staff.
• Be a sounding board for the charge nurse, surgical RNs, and surgical techs, and problem-solve in real-time.
• Orient, train, supervise, direct, schedule, and assign work to nursing staff.
• Monitor patient acuity and complexity as it relates to staff skill and knowledge.
• Plan and implement staff education, development, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor Clinical Nurse Managers, fostering professional growth.
• Create an atmosphere of open and responsive communication among staff, support services, and others.

Qualifications:

• A BSN is required, and an MSN is preferred.
• Active RN license.
• 5+ years of OR experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Schedule; Monday-Friday, days
• Pay; $125-000-156,000, depending on experience.
