Position Description
Title: Director of Residential Sales
Supervisor: CEO & Co-Founder
This is a full time, hybrid position
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of residential solar and energy storage sales
- Hire, train, inspire and manage a team of high performing solar consultants
- Maintain strong focus on overall customer experience and customer referrals
- Participate in the development and launch of new products and services
- Leverage data to inform sales strategies and measure success
- Work closely with key stakeholders to achieve overall company objectives
- Collaborate with other members of the Leadership Team to set annual budgets
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and market trends
- Pursue business development opportunities to support sales growth, including business partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience; ideally 7+ years of successfully managing high performing sales teams
- Experience with in-home sales in high growth companies, particularly in solar, energy efficiency or home improvement
- Experience selling high value items through a consultative process
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong sales training background
- Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
- Thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment
- Dynamic leader and effective team player
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate and present across all levels internally and externally
