Overview:

Director-Pharmacy Mercy Hospital Oklahoma and all related tasks associated with this responsibility.

Preformsduties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Matrix reporting relationship for accountability with this position resides with VP Pharmacy of Operations.

Qualifications:

Education: BS in Pharmacy

Licensure: Current Oklahoma Pharmacy License

Experience: 3 years experience in a hospital based pharmacy

Certifications: BLS. Effective 4/15/13, must be MTS certified within 90 days or within 90 days of hire

Other: Must be attentive to detail and accurate in work. Must be able to communicate in an effective and appropriate manner with others. Good verbal and non verbal communication skills. Flexibility and adjust to changing conditions and details or job is necessary.

Preferred Education: Masters in Pharmacy

Preferred Licensure: Current Oklahoma Pharmacy License

Preferred Experience: 5-7 years in management experience in a hospital based pharmacy

Preferred Certifications: BLS. MTS Certified

Preferred Other: Knowledge of chemotheraphy drugs and mixing. Experience in the 340 B drug program.
