Job description

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver who will deliver and transport dumpsters to residential and business clients in a safe, timely manner.

We are seeking applicants for Part Time positions in the Anchorage area. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years professional driving experience. Applicant must be clean cut, non-drug user, good attitude, Be able to acquire a DOT fitness card, heavy equipment experience preferred but not required. Some computer experience required.

Applicants must be open to working overtime in high season (Spring/Summer) based on workload, winter schedule may be adjusted to accommodate decreased work load.

Applicants will be required to drive safely, obey the traffic laws and respect the rights of other drivers on the road.

Salary based on experience and other criteria.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be punctual
• Minimum of 2 years professional driving experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Must be flexible with time and open to being on-call at all times
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Own reliable transportation is a must
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks, and be open to constant change
• Dexterity and the ability to climb and move freely in, on or around vehicles and dumpsters
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Ability to operate heavy equipment in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
