Title: Education Sales Representative

ABOUT US

Canadian Music and Arts College (CMAC), a private career college located in Toronto, Ontario, is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Education Sales Representative. As an Education Sales Representative, you would be responsible for recruiting and enrolling students in the CMAC programs by converting leads received by the College into registered students.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will recruit, qualify, and enroll new students into the college programs. This will be done by telephone and email prospecting through contact and follow-up with potential students; recruiting new students through regular and ongoing outreach activities; interviewing and testing applicants using the pre-screening and sales process; and establishing and maintaining rapport with the student body and staff to promote referrals. You will also be required to maintain regular data entry in the college administration system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ontario Secondary School diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum 2 year of demonstrated experience and proven success in student recruitment or a sales-related position / occupation
• 2 years of experience in customer service, communications or public speaking is required
• Experience in MS Office (especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and lead management software is required
• Prior experience in a sales position in the Private Career College industry would be preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are essential
• Access to a home work space, computer equipment, and reliable internet and phone service is required to support working remotely
• Ability to work in person at North Toronto location is required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours of work: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
