Job Description: Electrical installations, inspection and repair of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting systems.

Location: General area of service is Halton/Hamilton.

About our Company: As a family run business, Integrity Fire and Control Systems Inc. is an electrical contractor that specializes in fire protection. We offer annual inspections, verifications, maintenance and 24 hour emergency service. Along with fire protection, we also install and service a variety of electrical systems.

Educational requirements:

• Post-secondary in electrical or electronics.
• CFAA Certified Fire Alarm Technician an asset, willing to put through certification program.

General requirements:

• Individual must have an excellent work safety record.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Works well with others and follows directions.
• Must be clean and presentable.
• Work must be detail orientated.
• Be conscious of being a good representative of our company.
• Confident with use of drills and hand tools
• Confident use of computers, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent work safety record, conscious of a safe working environment.
• Shift Work is required

Skills that are an asset:

• Trouble shoot electronics.
• Soldering components to circuit boards.
• Understanding of batteries and charging systems
• Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting.

Other requirements:

• Have a valid G level drivers licence.
• Must be well organized.
• Be able to complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Occasional evening shifts will be required.
• Some work may require heavy lifting.
• WHIMIS, Lock-out tag-out, fall arrest, first aid are all assets.
• Valid police check will be required upon hiring.
