Assist senior tradesmen with basic electrical, HVAC, and lubrication maintenance and cleaning.

Position Title: Electrician Helper
POSITION OVERVIEW
Assist senior tradesmen with basic electrical, HVAC, and lubrication maintenance and cleaning.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for housekeeping and cleaning in electrical MCC rooms and general shop upkeep. Assists senior tradesmen in the field with labor and transportation of parts and tools as needed for efficient maintenance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions of Supervision and Senior technicians.
- Must comply with company safety directives, SOPs, and wear personal protective equipment as required to minimize hazards found in a mining environment.
- Must be able to utilize basic hand tools.
- Requires field work, outside, in all climate conditions.
- Willing to work independently or as a team.
- Must possess or be willing to acquire necessary hand tools to perform requirements of the position.
- Must be able to lift moderately heavy objects, climb, and stand for extended periods.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
