Are you an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS or EH&S) professional with a passion for training? In this fast-paced role, you will be an integral member of our EHS team at our Commerce City refinery, which is the largest refinery in the Rocky Mountain region and the only petroleum refinery in Colorado.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining the EHS training program for the refinery. This includes both in-person and computer-based training for approximately 500 employees. As the successful EHS Learning Advisor, you will partner with clients to translate complex operational requirements into learning needs. You will also collaborate with a dynamic team of 20+ EHS professionals and subject matter experts at the refinery as well as across the company.
Minimum Requirements:

8 to 12 years of work experience with detailed knowledge of applicable EHS regulatory and training requirements

Previous experience with ADDIE Model for instructional design; ability to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate learning programs

Strong interpersonal, team skills and communication skills

Experience standard project management methodology and processes

Bachelor's Degree in Education, business-related or technical field, or Certification in Adult Education, or Trade Certification/ Accreditation
Responsibilities:

Implement strategies to support change and continuous improvement initiatives for clients
-
Maintain current suite of in person and computer based EHS training curriculum for site

Deliver in person training sessions
-
Ensure all regulatory and required training is provided

Develop new training programs as needed to address regulatory, corporate, or changes in operational risk

Identify training gaps for business units

Develop and recommend regulatory compliance strategies

Research and draft recommendations for implementation

Analyze data related to training compliance and effectiveness
Location and other Key Details:

You will work out of our Commerce City refinery, located at 5801 Brighton Blvd.

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs, including being on-call as appropriate and potentially working night shifts as necessary during large scale outages, turnarounds, and/or emergencies

You may be required to use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces
Salary and Compensation Details:

Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work

$100,000 to $115,000 annual salary and an annual incentive program
