All staff are responsible for delivering a high-quality, memorable guest experience at our events. You must be approachable, professional and willing to stand for 6-10 hours of each shift.
Our events mostly run on the weekend, with opportunities to help set up the day before the event. Shifts are typically 8 hours, but may fluctuate based on the event.
Starting rate of $15/hr, paid in CASH. Compensation is paid immediately after the conclusion of our festival (after closing, clean-up, break down).
There is no travel compensation, fuel reimbursement or food per diem, or reimbursement. We do provide lunch vouchers you can redeem at any of the food vendors.
Reliable transportation preferred. Must be over 18 years old.
We are hiring for the following positions:
- Event Registration and Welcome Committee: administrative support, ticket scanning, looking up pre-purchased tickets in our registration database, managing admission, greeting attendees, handing out coupons to local businesses, etc.
- Security: logistical support, enforcing rules, ensuring safe practices are used, checking bags, directing lines, assisting in resolving guest complaints, report customer and event issues immediately, etc.
- Sanitation: emptying and changing trash, checking restrooms on a regular basis, cleaning them, ensuring the grounds are clean and tidy, report maintenance and cleaning issues immediately, etc.
- Activity Attendant: ensure children and adults adhere to activity rules, enforce time limits and participant limits, cleaning and preparing equipment for next guest, etc.
All staff may be asked to assist with other general tasks at the food festival, including but not limited to set-up of the event space and fixtures, general cleaning and tidying up in and around the event space, etc.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
