Your opportunity
- Be responsible for calendar management, including arranging internal and external meetings, calls and video conferences across multiple time zones
- Monitor and manage inbox, including printing of papers for meetings and responding or sending emails on your manager’s behalf
- Ensure your manager is prepared for meetings by putting together necessary documents and coordinating prep sessions as required
- Ensure your manager completes tasks and actions on time
- Help to collate management information for Board papers
- Prepare international travel arrangements and expense claims
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team
- Liaise with Corporate Secretariat regarding Board meetings and papers
- Provide cover for other administrative roles in the team
- Communication and Townhall preparation for the department
- Organize team events
- Perform certain Accounts Payable responsibilities including processing payment runs, coding invoices and accuracy reviews
- Perform light bookkeeping duties for the Janus Henderson Foundation including processing matching gift requests and entering transactions into QuickBooks
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
- Previous EA experience working at a senior level
- Financial services experience preferred. AP and AR
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Punctuality and flexibility
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Enthusiastic/positive attitude
- Able to use initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build excellent relationships at all levels, including ExCo, including ExCo and the Board
Nice to have skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of SAP and QuickBooks preferred
- Finance department experience helpful but not essential

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. This range is estimated foro this role. Actual pay may be different.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
