Exotech is a metals processing company in Pompano Beach, Florida and has been a family owned and operated business for 30 years. We recover and recycle a number of rare and exotic metals such as Tantalum, Niobium, Molybdenum, Tungsten, Zirconium, Hafnium, Nickel, Titanium, Germanium, Indium, and their alloys. Our products are used by specialty alloy producers and shipped worldwide. Position

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the facility, including 4 buildings in total as well as the construction and custodial staff. The Facilities Manager must have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, possess a professional demeanor, and have advanced written and communication skills.

Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location

· Compensation: The salary range is $60k to $70k + Generous Bonus

· Benefits: Generous paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance and short-term disability insurance is covered at 100% for the employee, vision, dental, and long-term disability insurance, and 401k employer matching up to 4% of salary

· Schedule: Regular work hours are generally 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with flexibility

· Location: This position requires the Facilities Manager to work at the factory in Pompano Beach, FL.

Responsibilities

· Inspect building structures to determine the need for repairs and/or renovations

· Manage upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet facility, health and safety standards

· Assist with planning and coordinating installations and renovations

· Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs

· Supervise facilities staff (custodians, construction) and external contractors

· Maintain the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior of areas such as conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor spaces

· Manage the preparation for changing weather conditions

· Maintain a secure and well functioning work environment

· Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems

· Identify the needs for repairs renovations and cleaning

· Manage the restocking of office and kitchen supplies

· Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting

· Monitor activities outside buildings, parking landscaping, and waste disposal

· Research and compare costs and benefits when evaluating new vendors

· Research new services and parts to facilitate operations

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree in Facility Management or Business Administration is preferred

· Minimum of 5 years of related experience

· Knowledge about routine maintenance

· Demonstrated experience in progressive Facilities roles

· Strong knowledge of facilities management operations

· Familiarity with office equipment and security systems

· Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent office productivity software

· Hands on experience with facilities management software is a plus

· Understanding of safety regulations in offices

· Extremely well organized

· Must have sound judgement and the ability to think quickly during emergencies

· Additional certification as a facility manager (CFM) is a plus
