Strongbridge has an exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced Financial Analyst with a passion for innovation to support our team. The Financial Analyst will be part of a team providing support for federal government agency. Candidates must be clearable for a public trust and a US Citizen who has lived in the US for the past 3 years consecutively. Candidates may be required to visit the client site monthly.


Responsibilities:

  • Assists in preparation of documentation to support strategic planning, programming, budgeting, and execution, such as OMB Exhibit 300. Provides cost/benefit studies, financial analysis, analysis of alternatives, return on investment, cost estimation, present value, and other analyses in support of capital planning and investment control.
  • Researches best practices, supports collection and analysis of data to detect trends, and makes recommendations
  • Develops and reviews business cases for IT investment
  • Supports IT portfolio management and governance of IT investments in accordance with DHS policies and directives
  • Performs financial and business analysis, risk management and performance measurement, in support of capital planning for IT Investments
  • Conducts Earned Value Management compliance assessment / Integrated Baseline Reviews
  • Establishes, monitors, measures, assesses and evaluates performance metrics for the investment and its programs
  • Develops and presents CPIC training
  • Creates high-impact presentations for senior client leaders
  • Identifies new cost optimization opportunities and risks

Required:

  • 4 years of working experience with the CPIC process and managing/supporting large investments
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Federal IT with Enterprise Architecture engagements either within a consultancy or large Federal government environment
  • Previous experience in successfully using an EA framework in an enterprise IT context. Experience should include use of frameworks, methodologies, and tools, such as Gartner/META, DoDAF, FEA, Zachman

Desired:

  • Certifications: TOGAF, Zachman, CTBME
  • Experience implementing use of TBM tools (i.e. Apptio, CostPerform)
