True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to join our team at our Hyatt Place in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This family-owned organization has a uniquely remarkable culture and is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas.

- Greets guests and checks them into hotel, issuing room keys, directing guests to rooms and other areas.
- Responds to guest questions either in person or over the phone
- Fulfills guests’ needs, ensuring their stay is as enjoyable as possible; assists with dining, entertainment, and transportation reservations, as needed.
- Resolves guest problems/complaints
- Clerical duties including answering phone calls, taking messages, entering reservations, filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic typing skills with computer data entry experience
- Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing
- Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with constant guest interaction
- Must be able to multi-task
- Ability to lift, pull, carry and push up to 50lbs
- Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
- Must be 18 years or older
- We utilize Opera PMS and Micros POS
