Shippensburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is a 125-bed skilled nursing facility located in Shippensburg, PA. We are currently recruiting for a part time receptionist to join our team. Monday -Friday 8a-430p as well as some occassional weekends 9am-5pm and every other holiday.

The Receptionist is responsible to greet and/or assist visitors/residents and answer telephones as well as other clerical duties as assigned.

Wages based on experience. Starting at $10.00/hr

Major Job Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the building
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities In: Excellent customer services and ability to multitask is essential in this role. Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel are required.
