Healthcare Business Analyst - REMOTE

National Spine & Pain Centers, one of the nation's largest interventional pain management practice, is seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst to support our Accounting and Finance team.

The Healthcare Business Analyst position is a key member of the Finance and Accounting function whose key objective is to ensure critical information needed by finance and other functional leaders is timely, accurately and efficiently delivered to key users. This includes financial information, non-financial statistical data, revenue cycle and relevant key metrics that bring clarity to operational decision support.

Responsibilities:

• Works with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
• Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
• Establish KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
• Structure large data sets to find usable information
• Work with a team and other associates to process information
• Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Provider report and progress on improvement activities
• Identify patterns in data

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Bachelors in Business, healthcare or IT/systems field.
• MBA, preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years in healthcare required.
• Experience with CPT code data manipulation.
• Experience with data analysis associated with multiple provider and payer groups.
• Finance and accounting related knowledge and experience.
• Five + years’ experience with database management software and reporting tools including:
  • SQL .
  • Excel database management experience (power pivot) and macro writing skills.
  • Qlikview or experience with similar reporting package.
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.
