The Wyndham Garden Hotel & Wildwoods Water Park in Elk River, MN is hiring for part-time Front Desk Associates. The Wyndham Garden is a 125-room full service hotel with 5,000 SF of function space and a 30,000 SF indoor waterpark.

Shifts Available: part time shifts available, approx. 3 days per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Registers and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room key and escort instructions to directly to guest as appropriate.
• Date-stamps, sorts and racks incoming mail and messages.
• Transmits and receives messages using equipment such as telephone, fax and switchboard.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
• Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
• Computes bill, collects payment and makes change for guests.
• May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.
• May sell tobacco, candy and newspapers, etc.
• May post charges such as room, food, liquor or telephone by hand or machine.
• May make restaurant, transportation or entertainment reservations for guests.
• May deposit guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit box.
• May order flowers or amenities for special guests.
• Books birthday parties in the waterpark.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor and senior management.
