Job description

The Port Network Administrator is responsible for the organization, administration, operation, and customer relations of the Port’s computer networks, access control systems, video and lighting security systems, software and radio/internet connectivity for the Port. The Administrator will ensure senior Staff are routinely updated concerning key day-to-day operations, provided advice and recommendations on matters of strategic planning and future implementation of the Port’s network. This position will require collaboration with all Port employees, contracted entities and other public entities on a routine if not daily basis. Success in this position requires strategic planning, business analysis, discretionary judgement, desire for process improvements, and interpersonal and negotiating skills.

Preferred work experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, math, business or relevant area
Experience with VM Ware virtual networks
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, the Port's primary ERP
Public employment experience

Salary Range $91,761 to $104,138 DOE.
