Job Description:

Ability to code IDQ mapplets, workflows, and rules for deploying data quality validation checks and bring up scorecards. IDQ Architecture concept.

Provide expertise in all aspects of data quality, including profiling, validation, standardization, error handling, and data cleansing using IDQ.

Prepare DQ Scorecard for data validation across chosen dimensions of DQ

Profile source data and determine all source data and metadata characteristics; Design and execute a Data Quality Audit/Assessment; Design and execute the data quality mappings that will cleanse, de-duplicate, and otherwise prepare the project data

Develop, and implement functions, stored procedures, and ETL jobs using IPC or IICS

Experience implementing complex queries against large datasets to support business intelligence functions. Proficient at writing SQL queries and verifying the results

Analyze and provide data metrics to management to help prioritize areas for data quality improvement

Good concept of integration between different source systems and target systems.

Review code developed by other Developers and provided input to and drive programming standards.

Comfortable with API integration in IDQ.

Create DQ technology best practices and performance optimization methods as applicable.

Good Knowledge of UNIX shell script. Performance tuning in IDQ

DQ metrics and dashboard development, and deployment. Remediation workflow creation, testing, and deployment. Assist in deploying mappings that will run in a scheduled, batch, or real-time environment

Liaise with business data stewards to develop quality rules and controls through profiling; participate in the identification and remediation of data quality issues in the functions

Must-Have Skills:

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in design, development, and configuration of IDQ.

6+ years’ experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, and UNIX.

Recent experience working with DQ tools and reporting toolsets, including rule development, testing, issue tracking, reporting and DQ dashboard design.

Familiarity with data stewards, data quality, data dictionaries, and data lineage tools such as Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon preferred.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Information Systems /Technology, Computer Science, any of the Engineering disciplines, or a related field from an accredited college/university
