Job description

We are looking for a self-driven, highly organized, congenial couple to run the daily operations of our lodge.

The innkeeper position will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and overseeing all Inn operations
• Greeting and welcoming guests
• Responding to guest text messages
• Answering phone
• Working to resolve issues or problems that guests may experience
• Handling special requests and accommodations
• Coordinating services with outside suppliers, vendors, travel agencies, and event planners
• Performing other related duties as assigned

No cooking required. Laundry and housekeeping is mainly outsourced. The right candidate would be an organized person who multi-tasks with ease and is motivated to provide our guests with an excellent and memorable experience while vacationing.

Innkeepers will be paid a salary and live free of charge on-site in a one bedroom apartment with all utilities included. Compensation is $30,000 per year ($25k and a 5k bonus after 12 months) plus all tips; you can augment income by participating in housekeeping (paid per room), total potential income can be $40,000 to $50,000 or more, not counting tips

The maintenance position will be responsible for:

• Inspecting and identifying equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Performing general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performing routine maintenance on building systems.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Maintenance person will be paid $40,000 per year ($35k and a $5k bonus after 12 months).
