We are actively looking for an Intern, Communications to join our Property Operations group for January 2023. Reporting directly to the Vice President Office East, the role of the Intern, Communications is to assist property operations with their social media initiatives and content development for both internal and external use.

• Write tenant communications
• Assess existing tenant communication tools, looking for opportunities to build consistency across properties and regions
• Support in the creation of the QuadReal Amenity Brand Standards
• Capture images and video content for internal purposes (editing skills an asset)
• Provide support with virtual and in person property events (when permitted) and writing content for social media channels
• Monitor media for real estate or community stories/trends that would be of interest to QuadReal property operations
• Assist on a variety of projects and initiatives, including the coordinator of an image and video bank
• Capture images and video at properties for us in internal content and social channels
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Education – Enrolled in a Communications or Marketing Program
• Communication – Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages
• Organization – Ability to allocate one’s time effectively, work under pressure and manage deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities; willing to learn and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment; organized; detailed orientated and a self-starter
• Platforms – Must be proficient with Office 365 tools, including Sharepoint, as well as Wordpress, Google Analytics, video editing program(s) and all common social platforms; experience with image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign an asset
• Relationship – Excellent communication, oral and written; able to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships; able to be flexible and work with all types of personalities; able to exercise confidentiality and places a priority on client services
• Values – Embrace and pro-actively support QuadReal’s values and its culture of environmental sustainability and corporate and social responsibility.
• Experience – Previous experience with social media in a corporate environment and content writing
