Description

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining inventory system accuracy, data integrity, local level audit controls and inventory levels to prevent product out-of-stocks.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and training of parts/inventory clerks.
• Coordinate plant shipping, receiving, inventory control, material flow and freight traffic.
• Expert knowledge of inventory control techniques and processes
• Manage the inventory cycle count program to continually improve processes.
• Communicate effectively with both suppliers and customers to ensure proper product flows are maintained.
• Meet with employees when necessary to coach, counsel, or confront issues always seeking resolution that reinforces Company standards, guidelines and policies.
• Hands on background in order picking, processing, shipping and forklift driving.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years supervisory experience in inventory control & Associate’s Degree preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills are required
• Knowledge of Microsoft business software required
• Proficiency with ASW is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
