Job description
As a Senior Java Developer
- you will be part of our engineering team to help our customers design, enhance and build transactional platform in an agile development environment.
- You will play part of multiple teams tasked with multiple projects ranging from building real-time transactional services, REST services API, Container based services to highly functional, secure, scalable and resilient real time and batching systems.
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) in computer science or related field.
Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years Software Development Experience or a Masters with 5+ years of Software Development Experience
Core skills required:
- Core Java (Java 8/11) - Streams API, Lambda expressions and java.nio package, etc.
- Spring Framework & Spring Boot
- Hibernate/JPA
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services standards and related technologies (HTTP, Spring, XML, JSON, REST, WS*, AXIS, JERSEY)
- Dockers & Kubernetes
- File processing and transfer protocols (SFTP, SSH)
- Java messaging, ideally RabbitMQ
- Hands on experience in Kafka
- Strong knowledge and expertise of cyber security principles (during handshake, authorization & authentication, data in transit and data at rest), encryption methods best practices and options
- Relational databases, stored procedures, stored functions, SQL language
- IDE - IntelliJ IDE
- Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology
- Experience in Jira and Confluence
- Has strong dedication to test automation and Test Driven Development
- Unit testing framework (Junit/Mockito)
