As Junior Landscape Designer, you've completed your education in landscape design, and are looking to collaborate with an established design team to grow and learn. As a successful candidate for this role, your qualifications would include the following:

• You have a Landscape Design diploma or Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture

• You're a horticultural expert

• You're experienced and confident with landscape construction methods

• You are fluent in AutoCAD and Sketchup

• Working experience not required, but is an asset

On any given day, as our new designer, here are a few of the things that you'd be doing:

• Site Measuring and Site Information - You'd be assisting designers with site consultations, completing site inventories and measurements, and collecting and storing property file information

• Design and Support - You'd be assisting the design team by preparing base plans, researching property regulations and conservation limitations, preparing design details, packages, and construction binders, and as experience allows, preparing concept and detail designs

• Project Takeoffs and Material Information – You'd provide design takeoffs for estimating, assist with preparing presentation and proposal documents, compile material lists, and source special samples

• Sales Support and Administration – You'd assist with meeting presentation deadlines, participate in sales meetings and training, and help document all open leads and opportunities, as experience allows, you'd present smaller projects independently
